Welcome to FJ's Creative Lab
A pressure cooker session designed to get more out of us, you, and the project as a whole.
It’s time to leave your comfort zones behind and slip into something a little more, uncomfortable. Like two asses. One Smart Ass and one Kick Ass. Those are the two defining principles behind FJ. And you’re about to dive straight in. That’s right, you’re part of the FJ team now. Welcome aboard. Just a warning, this team doesn’t stop until the problem is solved. Although we do take regular coffee breaks 😉 Ready to kick some Smart Ass? Let’s go!
We ask you to share your goals with our team beforehand. This way we can have a focused debrief ready when we start and we can use every minute of the Creative Lab focusing on the job at hand.
2. GET YOUR FJ MIND IN THE GAME
Every Creative Lab session starts off with a 30-minute mindfulness session. We promise we won’t make you wear harem pants. And just wait until you get home and realise you’ve just spent 5 hours fully focused on coming up with creative solutions. And you still have energy to spare. You’re welcome 😉
3. SMART ASS
Now that we only have one thing on our minds: hitting the world’s first double homerun. Let’s focus on video strategy. Who are we trying to reach? Why, when, where and how? Simple questions. Often overlooked, always essential. This is where research comes in and we look to define the optimal journey.
4. KICK ASS
Now that we have laid the foundation for our content, it’s time to build a kick ass video concept. The most important questions: How do we get people to feel what we’re trying to say? And how do we capture their attention instead of stealing it. This is where we use the power of video to engage people in our story.
5. HIGH FIVE TIME
Step 5 happens after we’ve congratulated each other on a very productive, insightful day, celebrated with a high five and maybe even a little drink. After we’ve said our goodbyes our team takes all the results of the Creative Lab and starts pouring them into a fine-tuned video strategy and a made to measure production plan. All that’s left now is: lights, camera, action!
